Overview
Ron Arad is an Israeli designer born in 1951 in Tel Aviv and has been well known since the 1980s.
He studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London where Bernard Tschumi was his teacher and Zaha Hadid his colleague.
His design is characterised by pure, unconventional forms and a taste for curves that places him in the tradition of sculptural designers.
