NOUVELLES RÉSOLUTIONS: Opening exhibition, Ketabi Projects, 22 passage Dauphine Paris 6
Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard is pleased to announce the opening of Ketabi Projects gallery in Paris in the Saint Germain des Prés district. The gallery will hold it's inauguration on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Located at 22 passage Dauphine, the space occupies a surface of 110 m2 on the ground floor, in a courtyard, under a glass roof, and will benefit from complete renovations carried out under the coordination of interior designer Anne-Sophie Geay.
After a first year of nomadic existence with exhibitions in places such as the Grandes Serres de Pantin, Christie's Paris or 22Visconti, Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard decided to settle down, while keeping the possibility of investing in new places for specific projects. The exhibitions will be of short duration and the space will be permanently reinvented between each one in order to show without delay the latest works of the artists represented by the gallery.
With its concentration of contemporary and modern art, antiques and furniture galleries, and the presence of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Monnaie de Paris, Saint Germain des Prés remains the historic artistic hub of the French capital.
The gallery will open with a group exhibition on December 15, followed by the first solo show in Paris of Julien Saudubray in January and Audrey Guttman in February 2022.
Ketabi Projects' mission is to represent artists from a new generation, both French and foreign. After having shown the work of French figurative painter Inès Longevial, Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard presented last spring the works of painter Idir Davaine for the first time in Paris.
The next artists to be exhibited, Julien Saudubray and Audrey Guttman, speak to the gallery's presence in other scenes - in this case Belgium.
Ketabi Projects is taking root at a time when many major international galleries are opening a Parisian branch, when a new generation of gallerists is emerging and is thus participating in the radiance of France, whose place on the international art market continues to grow.
Charlotte Ketabi-Lebard is proud to be able to support and promote the artists represented by Ketabi Projects by showing them in this new space, specifically in Paris, which is more dynamic than ever.
